- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Yellow Chartreuse
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Creme de cacao
- 1/3 oz (10 ml) Cynar
- 1Stir.

In bar parlance, a boomerang is a drink sent from one bartender to another via a trusted intermediary. Longtime baijiu-bartender Paul Mathew unveiled the Bittersweet Boomerang at the 2017 Tales of the Cocktails as a special gift to the bartenders in attendance.
